A dogs life should be a happy one

We do love our dogs

Our philosophy

At Gatehouse, our aim is to look after

the dogs in our care to the very best of our ability. Dogs need space, interaction, love

and care. Their welfare is of upmost

importance and we strive to make your

pets stay with us a happy experience.

We are constantly trying to improve

the kennels and this year we have had a

new fencing system installed, refurbished

and refinished the kennel gates, new kennel dividers and more improvements planned.

Sarah Hibberd and Alan Still have been around dogs for much of their lives and have owned many breeds and crossbreeds themselves.

Sarah and Alan, as two of the founder members of the Wessex Dog Training Club

in the south of England have experience

with training methods and dog welfare

with one of their own dogs, Bundle,

achieving his Kennel Club Good Citizen

Silver Award. Since taking over Gatehouse

in October 2016 they have adopted a second dog, Eira from NCAR - ncar.org.uk
